At midnight on the 26th/27th June, 550 walkers descended upon the UEA Sportspark for the 4th Starlight Walk, in aid of Macmillan Nurses.  The Starlight Walk is a route of 13 miles around the inner ring road of Norwich, starting at the UEA Sportspark, then going anti-clockwise towards Carrow Road, before going UP Harvey Lane, through Heartease, along Mile Cross Road towards Asda prior to descending on the final leg back to the Sportspark.  Once again the STARLIGHT BABES, a group of 11 members and friends from the Great Yarmouth & District Athletic Club supported this event.  Congratulations to Dawn, Denise, Elaine, Glad, Karen, Heather, Maureen, Pat, Stef, Sue C & Sue R who all completed the course in under 3½ hours.  The no. of entrants had dropped this year - perhaps due to the lack of publicity or because all our local lady fitness enthusiasts do not realise that the event is on and just what fun it is whilst raising money for an excellent cause
