Pat Brightman, competed with 26,500 other runners in this race.  The winner of the race was the great long distance runners - Haile Gebrselassie in a time of 27:39, who took the time out for a photo with Pat before the race.  The race is through the streets of the City, out to the famous OLD TRAFFORD ground and back to the Deansgate - the street on which Usain Bolt later in the day broke the 150m record.  Pat improved her time on the last 10K she ran and finished in 1:18:07
