Submitted by Alan on Mon, 12/12/2011 - 19:35The under 11g/13g/13b all finished in second team place with the U11 boys finishing 4th. A good end to the league. Athletes now have the county champs to look forward. Then there is the regional inter county competition at Norwich in January, several athletes from our club will be involved if a team wins the regional they then go on to compete in the national competition usually held at the NEC in Birmingham a truly great competition to take part in.

Anglian League Final at Bury St Edmunds Sunday 18th Sept
Submitted by Alan on Mon, 09/12/2011 - 14:49This year we have had a very successful season not only did we win the u13 girls league but we qualified for the final in the Under 17 boys, Jun/Sen men and the inter/sen ladies competitions. This is great for the club and everyone involved in one way or another can feel very proud of what the athletes have achieved. It would be great to win a cup in the final but this is a big ask yet I have no doubt everyone will be out there giving there best.

Sophie hits a new high.
Submitted by Alan on Tue, 07/26/2011 - 14:16It seems there is no stopping her and to win a silver medal in the world youth games in Lille , France was not only out standing but the first time an athlete from the UK had won a shot putt medal in a world event. With the AAA world games trials at Birmingham this week end I know everyone in the club would like to wish her all the best in her quest to make the senior team.
