What is an Academy Athlete, it is someone who trains regularly and competes for the club. The Athletes selected to the Academy will be awarded an Academy badge  and could receive  additional help if required.

See guide-lines set out below

1. You must be a fully paid up first claim member of the club. 

2. You are expected to train at the club regularly about once aweek. For a period of 3 months before being considered.

3. Compete for the club at least 3 times in a season

4. Coaches will decide who should be selected to be an Academy athlete

5. Athletes selected will be awarded there embroided Academy badge

6. Academy athletes can benefit from help with fee's to  enter major meetings

7. Academy athletes can have some help with costs towards any treatment  required for injuries
